Product Description
Race Pipe replaces the third Catalytic Converter.
With aftermarket J-Pipes having an exit diameter of 2.5" diameter, the OEM 3rd Catalytic converter creates pipe friction as it is only 2.25" in diameter. By also removing the catalytic substrate, and making this a race application, we were able to smoothen out the flow and keep the diameter consistent in between the J-Pipe and the Cat-back system.
Stainless Steel 439 Construction.
Uses thick, SOLID flanges.
Straight through application.
2.5" Diameter throughout.

- - Prepositioned tabs come welded on to allow the use of the factory heat shield.

- This product is amazing. It's cheap, easy to install, and makes the car sound great! I am running Base Type-S Exhaust along with the race pipe and it gives it a nice throaty sound. It give the car a bit better throttle response and better air flow. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to any TL modder out there.

- Excellent product! Way better than gutting the third cat, AND you can put your stock heatshield over it so it's retains the stock look! Even the person that installed it for me was impressed by the product. I installed this with the atlp j-pipe and I felt a definite gain.

- partnered with the J-pipe, reduced cabin drone by at least 90%. also reduced the vibration in 5th gear for those who dont have the TSB done. you will feel the difference right away. and like all ATLP stuff,its a really well made part.
