Product Description

The Original Quad-Exhaust system for the TL-S! While already special in this sense, we partnered with Stromung Exhaust Engineering to create a unique, fully custom built exhaust tuned just for the 3.5 TL-S.

Stromung Engineering has been around for over 20 years and is widely known in the European car community for their distinct exhausts, and unique tones.

We were able to create an exhaust that emits a subtle and smooth tone while cruising, but a deep authoritative roar at full throttle. The UA7 engine, especially the AT models are notorious for drone, and the lack of low end throttle response. Stromung Engineering tuned the ATLP exhaust system to keep drone at a minimum, while also improving throttle response. Mid-range and top end power was increased.

Completely mandrel bent Stainless Steel 439 tubing. Extremely durable and guaranteed not to rust or break apart.

Two Stainless Steel 304 Mufflers & Four Sexy 3.5 Inch 2 Piece Tips.
Silent-sport German-made packing.
Utilizes all factory hangers.
Uses thick, solid flanges.

Exhaust bolts on to the third cat and runs at 2.5 inches, and splits off into a 2.25" diameter that directly feeds into the mufflers. We were able to increase flow, while keeping throttle response peppy and lag-free.

This is the last limited batch of The Original ATLP Quad Exhaust System. Only a few spots left. ETA of completion is end of November, 2008.

3 Year Warranty This part is covered under ATLP Lab's 3 year warranty against any manufacturing defects and failures. Surface rust is not a manufacturer’s defect/failure and is apparent with any grade steel exposed to constant snow and salt. It’s easily treatable with regular polishing and isn’t harmful to the structural performance of the exhaust system.

  • Wow is all i have to say. I dont even own one but can 100% back its performance, sound, and quality. The sound is AMAZING, unlike any other exhaust i have ever heard on a 3rd Gen TL. Not to mention, it looks beautiful. ATLP make quality stuff!

  • Beautifully engineered and architectured catback exhaust. Exceeds all aftermarket exhausts within a broad range--exhaust tone, volume, and throatiness. A mildly loud voice when cruising at approximately 2K RPM and when you hit the gas partial throttle to 2.5K, the growl and roar dissipates from the car and gives it a beautiful sound. Fitment is perfect. Highly recommended and could not have been more satisfied with my purchase.

  • For an innuendo of the music that will be entering your ear, I have provided a clip of my car in 3rd gear in sport shift, then switched back to drive and put the pedal to the metal full throttle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBxRjw5Rqoo

  • The raw clean cut look featured on the ATLP Quad Cat-Back system introduces a new image to the TL/TL-S; a sly yet handsome touch to the vehicle’s look. Don’t underestimate the design of the ATLP, it truly is magnificent! Once the box is opened, you know that you are looking at a work of great craftsmanship. The 3.5” chambered tips are staggered to perfection, giving that aggressive and luxurious sense to the TL/TL-S. The raw finish on the muffler is more than just a work of art; it gives the TL/TL-S a more appealing impression. This simple yet extravagant finish definitely gives value to the TL/TL-S’s image. Build quality is top notch. The piping is mandrel bent so you are guaranteed a smooth and consistent air flow. The size of the piping is extensive compared to that of the stock TL/TL-S unit. Its 2.5” mid-piping to a 2.25” Y-Pipe split adds a noticeable amount of power and torque as well. Just from looking at the ATLP Quad Cat-Back system, you can tell that this system was made with strict care and precise engineering. The propriety welds gives you security that no breaks will occur with the piping to the flange and to the mufflers. ATLP Laboratory has given much attentiveness and care to the build of the system so you can be assured that this exhaust will last. Last but not least, the sounds of nirvana. The harmonious sound that the ATLP Quad Cat-Back system produces has been the talk of the year! No other exhaust manufacturers were able to replicate or match the purity of ATLP’s beautiful exhaust note. Imagine a fusion of the B5 Audi S4 (1997-2002) and the Infiniti G35 series. This results in a variant tone of a German luxury car with a hint of a Japanese aggressive sports car sound. Humbleness is what the ATLP demands. Unlike the GReddy system, ATLP’s engineering has managed to cut the infamous cabin bass drone found in Automatic TLs thanks to the careful packing of its muffler’s components. So if you are looking for a system with a clean cut look with quality care build and an orgasmingly good exhaust note that does not attract an officer of the law, then ATLP is what you need! I LOVE IT!

  • Best exhaust hands down for any 2004-2008 Acura TL. Beautiful and well-made staggered tips. Amazing European sound and a great increase in power. Make sure you couple this exhaust with an aftermarket J-pipe and test pipe for maximum gains.

  • What an incredible piece of equipment. The construction is top quality. Having used multiple brands of exhaust on Mustangs in the past, there is a much higher level of quality with the ATLP kit. The sound is incredible. It also looks sexy as hell. This is what Acura should have done from the beginning. Damn fine job ATLP!

  • I have had my eye on this exhaust for a while. My cousin actually had the very first ATLP test fitted on his car. This exhaust is like no other. The staggered tips and deep growl will make you drool. Long story short I cant put into words how sick this catback exhaust is! Well worth the price! The design, quality, sound all top notch. Good job Mike. This world would not be right without ATLP!!!

  • Just amazing! Subtle and smooth sounding under 2k RPM. Gets throatier and has "meaner" as your raising in RPMs. With lowered gas prices... I'd be more than happy to punch on the throttle just to hear these Quads! Totally worth the import to Canada.

  • This exhaust is a beautiful piece. Sound quality is great. As other's mentioned, it has a nice european sound that adds a good dynamic to the naturally pleasant engine sounds of the TL. Install is easy. The materials definitely have a high grade appearance and the construction is top notch. The day I installed it, I took some friends for a ride and the girls that were with me said, "Wow, you're car sounds really sexy." Enough said.

  • So I dont even have these yet & I\'m rating them. Watched the videos & read all the reviews & I\'m gonna start saving to get these on Spring 2010. Do the pipes hold up well in tough salty, snowy Chicago winters? The sound described by all is exactly what I\'m looking for. Do you guys who have it installed have intakes as well?
